In South Africa, MIE operates as a registered credit bureau and is a member of both the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and the Southern African Fraud Prevention Service (SAFPS). MIE owns and operates the National Qualifications Register (NQR®). The NQR® is an electronic register with over 4.4-million graduate records from 27 subscribing tertiary institutions. The company also has presence of over 110 locations nationally across the MIE Fingerprint Zone.
