How to Get Started

Individuals or small businesses who run ad hoc checks can benefit from our easy-to-use online verification portal called ePCV.

Signing up

Visit the ePCV login page, select “Credit and Cash” and go to “Register Here” to register as a client. From there, you can register and submit checks directly from our website. Throughout the process, we’ll help you with compiling the documentation needed to submit your check.

 As a registered client, you can request training directly with your dedicated Key Account Manager. Please reach out directly to them, or send an email to miesales@mie.co.za.

How can I follow up on a query or a check that has already been submitted?

When logged into ePCV, you can track the status of submitted background checks using the dashboard feature and you can easily identify checks requiring additional information to prevent delays.

When logged into ePCV, you can track the status of submitted background checks using the dashboard feature and you can easily identify checks requiring additional information to prevent delays.  There is also an option to escalate checks out of SLA.

What is the password to open an MIE Report?

The Identity number or passport of the individual as submitted to MIE.

Where do I send additional information documents requested by MIE?

Please send them to documents@mie.co.za and include your unique MIE reference number in the subject line. You can also click on the reply to request link contained in the additional information email.

How do I cancel a request if I no longer wish to proceed?

Kindly send an email requesting for cancelation to: mieinfo@mie.co.za or fingerprintzone@mie.co.za for fingerprint Zone cancellation requests.

Where do I get my login details?

Please use forgot password and await email to reset, kindly check the Spam/ Junk mail should you not receive the email.  If you are still struggling, you may email mieinfo@mie.co.za.
