It is a week since the South African Government declared the coronavirus pandemic a national disaster, and a week since President Ramaphosa impressed upon us, as a nation, that “we have to change”. In the President’s address on Monday, he stated that “immediate, swift and extra ordinary action is required”.
In preparation for the enforced nation-wide 21-day lockdown MIE has taken swift and extraordinary action, by equipping the entire MIE staff complement with the necessary facilities to work remotely.
