Criminal Record Check

Verify and check an individual’s criminal record. MIE uses the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) technology to determine the criminal background status of a person.

AFISwitch Fingerprint Capturing Training

MIE offers training on digital fingerprint capturing using the Sagem MorphoSmart 300 on MIE’s in-house software SmartScreen and ePCV. Training is available nation-wide, and Sagem MorphoSmart 300 fingerprint capture devices are available for purchase.

SAPS 91A Fingerprints

The implementation of an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) in certain regions/offices might not be viable as the requirement for criminal verifications is merely required on an adhoc basis. With this in mind, MIE is able to offer companies an alternative solution.
